Grip Casino has pulled together exactly the sort band you want to rent that neighbourhood garage space. Guitar with occasional, electronics, bass and drums pump out direct and assertive rock tremblings into the hot, acidic night.

These songs highlight the paradox of all damn rock n’ roll. Basic ingredients get baked. The whole becomes more than the sum of its parts. The ghost leaves the machine and floats between fingers, muscles and teeth. Repetition is a spirit hammer used to pummel your third eye.

For the cautious among you, fret not. In between the ‘hummma-hummma’ cavernous spaces open up in the sound, like a dub version of Spacemen 3 or early Pelt or something.
